Another step towards our first issue

Good news: IRRJ now officially has an ISSN and we are able to hand out DOIs. ISSN: 3050-9106, E-ISSN: 3050-9114. We plan to present our first paper issue at SIGIR 2025.

Of course, all papers will be freely available on-line, and there are no article processing fees either. We aim to attract researchers from countries that cannot currently afford publishing at SIGIR, ECIR, ACM TOIS, IP&M, etc.

(and yes, the first issues will be on actual, real paper, but we might not continue using dead trees for publishing, unless of course people like them.)
